UMC Mazinger Z pre-order announced
Bandai recently announced on their Tamashii site that the Urban Material Chogokin Mazinger Z will be available for pre-order starting January 29th at 10AM Japan time. There are only 10 pieces being produced. Once your order is placed you can expect delivery any time between 7 months and a year.
This bad boy will cost you 2 MILLION yen. That's $22,313.09 USD. One would assume that is not including shipping. Payable via bank transfer, to Japan residents only.
But hey, there are only 10 in existence!

Well, if I win the lotto I'll make sure to order me one. However, I'll have it custom painted to match the original Anime color. The "Urban Material" look just doesn't do it for me...

As I understand,(unless Bandai changed this from the proto UMC), the "Neo Jumbo M." is pose-able(legs also) and functional(rocket punch)unlike this UMC for around $22,033 less. Whomever the 10 owners turn out to be, good luck with the serious case of buyers remorse!
