Transformers Sega Genesis Megatron

TakaraTomy does what Nintendon't with this Sega Genesis branded version of their recent Mega Drive Megatron. This famous game console was extremely successful outside of Japan so it is only natural a Genesis version be made. True to life, in console mode it is identical to the original Mega Drive save for the name etched on the front. In robot mode it features a purple trim instead of red. Comes with an American version of the Sonic the Hedgehog cartridge and controller as well. This is a TakaraTomy e-shop exclusive. Preorders have started as of this news post. Set for release February 2015 for 10,800 yen. Limited to 1,000 units.

One more difference

Besides the Genesis labeling, this version has purple sections while those sections on the Mega Drive version are red.

There's gonna be a lucky draw version too, apparently.

It'll come with the Japanese Streets of Rage (Bare Knuckle) cartridge.
