1/60 Perfect Transformation VF-4G - First Look!

Souce: Dengeki Hobby via Cybergundam

This is our first glimpse at Yamato's 1/60 Perfect Transformation VF-4G. This is a CAD rendering that gives us an idea of what the final toy will look like.

No word yet on the precise size of the toy, however the VF-4G is roughly the same length as the VF-17 in fighter mode.

The VF-4 made its debut in the fifth anniversary production Macross Flashback 2012, which told the story of the original cast venturing forth to colonize space in the year 2012. This design captured the imagination of many fans and Garage Kit makers despite never being seen in Gerwalk or Fighter mode until the VF-4G made its grand comeback in the 1997 video game Macross Digital Mission VF-X (my favorite). From there it would be a playable Valkyrie in almost every subsequent Macross game.

So far this is set to be a Yamato Webshop exclusive.

Price and release date: TBD

GOOD GRAPHICS!

Wow, that's a bit more

Wow, that's a bit more back-heavy than I was expecting. But it still looks great!

All Arm

From the look of the design in the Kawamori Macross Designs Work Book, all of that weight is in the shoulders. but yeah, still a very top heavy design by the looks of the render.

For the record, the guy

For the record, the guy playing the game in that video is doing a pretty terrible job.

I S-ranked the whole thing cuz I'm a star.
