Hot Toys Iron Man Mark XXI Midas Armor Updated
When Tony Stark got really aggressive about solving the icing problem, he created the Mark XXI Midas Armor for high altitude flight. The shining version of the Golden Avenger is another part of the Iron Legion as seen in Iron Man 3. This repaint of the Mark VII armor is a Summer Exclusive for 2013. Coming in either third or fourth quarter of this year. MSRP is $299.99.
Update: Sideshow is now taking limited orders for this figure! Click here for details.

3 comments postedAs someone who has not seen Iron Man 3, are all of those scratches on the chest actually part of the sculpt?
Also, is Hot Toys known for re-releasing their stuff? What...what does a Summer Exclusive even mean.
Nah, the scratches just look like the prototype has had a rough life.
I did not know either, so I looked around and I think Summer Exclusive means this guy is what Hot Toys will be bringing around to shows for the next couple of months as an exclusive. I think most of these shows will be in Asia, but hopefully this guy will get a US-exclusive release through Sideshow's site.
I can't think of other instances where Hot Toys showed off prototypes with any kinds of flaws at all in their press photos, so I was a little confused.
