I can probably forgive bandai for re-releasing combattler with this companion piece. The base looks awesome… dare I say even better than the fan-release of Camp Big Falcon for Voltes V (which I have).

If they did this for GX-50, can GX-31's base be next? :)

It's not a mail away, it's a Tamashii web shop exclusive for Spring 2010. Buying the GX-50 gets you 3,000 yen off the 13,000 yen price. There's a ticket or card or something that comes in the box with a serial number you enter with the order. It's not listed on the web shop site yet though. No idea when the pre-order starts.
