New Macross 1/60 Scale Valkyrie to be Announced at Wonderfest 2014
Arcadia just put up a teaser for their next 1/60 scale perfect transformation Valkyrie from Macross. Details are intentionally fuzzy as they are going to fully announce their plans at Wonder Festival in February 2014. The figure itself is slated fro 2015. Judging by the teaser, this airplane appears to have large delta wings. Why not try guessing what it could be?
(Veef note: It's probably the VF-0D)

Maybe it's the Metal Siren from Macross II (http://www.macross2.net/m3/macross2/va-1ss.htm)? That would make it the first Macross II toy in... wait, have there ever been Macross II toys?
Oh god, please don't let it be the Metal Siren... I'm not saying the above picture isn't the Metal Siren, but surely if they intend to start making mecha from Macross II then they would begin with the VF-2SS Valkyrie II?
While Arcadia has been asked about Macross II via twitter, they have said the license is hard to get. For the foreseeable future I would not expect any Macross II merchandise from them.
Right now the only current Macross II merchandise outside of some garage kits is this Nendoroid Petite Ishtar

P.S. It's totally the VF-0D.
Well, then I can only but dream a bit longer and hope they get the rights to those mecha someday...!
From what I can tell from the picture, the Valkyrie appears to have:
Delta wings which out of the ones that haven't been done, only the VF-0D and VF-11MAXL have
A pitot tube coming out of the nose which the VF-0D has
Underwing stores that look like the top of an AIM-120 AMRAAM which were used in Macross Zero by the Valkyries and the F-14 Tomcats
Also Macross Zero is a license Arcadia wants to revisit (Yamato did it before) and in twitter pictures they have teased a VF-0D by having one of the tiny Bandai trading toys in their "guessing game" pics
