LEGO introduces Hero Factory!

This is the place where real heroes are made. The heroes are designed, equipped and built depending on specific missions that beam in from across the galaxy and across time. The heroes are then sent out in their hero pods ready to defeat evil and solve their mission. The missions are many and very different.

Coming in August, 2010, Hero Factory will bring with it opportunities for fan creation in numerous ways and the chance for new beginnings in the LEGO world of constraction (constructable action figures). Attached you’ll find a video introducing Hero Factory. Watch for more information around Toy Fair and beyond!

Yep,and I'm not sure they'll

Yep,and I'm not sure they'll make it. Bionicle has mutated so much over the years that it's going to be extremely hard to do something with this construction system that doesn't look like Tahu and friends again...

Oh, speaking of ol' Tahu,

Oh, speaking of ol' Tahu, I saw an official remake of him (and Takanuva) in TRU the other day!
It's called something like "Bionicle Legends" (i.e. Power Rangers Retrofire) where they bring back a past $8.00 character, but remake them using current pieces rather than simply reissuing the original. There was a hunchbacked Rahkshi in there as well (I have all 6) as well as three later ones I don't know.

I didnt really get into

I didnt really get into Bionicle, I have 2 from when they first came out, but now everytime I visit the toy aisle there's a new one out.. but I'm interested in seeing what the line-up looks like, especially if they are less organic shapes.

But damn! If that voice over guy says Heroes one more time.. *smack*
