Transformers: War for Cybertron - Full Trailer

Transformers: War for Cybertron features two distinct storylines: the AUTOBOT campaign tells a story of heroism to save their home planet against overwhelming odds, and the DECEPTICON campaign tells a story of an unquenchable thirst for power to control the universe. For the first time in a TRANSFORMERS title, fans will be able to play the game with their friends through team-based online co-op, or go head to head in a variety of intense, online multiplayer game modes. The game features a sci-fi art style that introduces to fans the entire living, metallic world of CYBERTRON, as well as all-new visualizations of the iconic TRANSFORMERS characters in their original Cybertronian forms.

Transformers: War for Cybertron is in development by High Moon Studios for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC and Nintendo DS.

I'll go PC, thank you. A lot

I'll go PC, thank you.

A lot of people say this Universe has been influenced by Bayformers, but I think it leans a bit more towards the 2006 "TF:Cybertron" line (minus the Cyber Key gimmick), which did have some really cool designs.

So... they got Peter Cullen involved, but not Frank Welker? Boo!

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm starting to get tired of the whole "hand-held camera/documentary"-style of shooting that Hollywood has been getting into lately (started around "Star Wars Episode II- Attack of the Clones"?). I think they need to seriously tone that back, especially when it comes to the big-budget sci-fi & fantasy stuff, where you're supposed to be able to see all the fantastic stuff without massive amounts of motion blur beyond the action.
Keep the lens schmutz(sp?) if you must, but less sudden-zooming, manual focusing, and random camera panning! It's admittedly an interesting and somewhat-unique cinematography style, but it's getting into genre that it doesn't belong in!

(Do you have any idea how difficult it was for me to get good screenshots when I reviewed the DVDs of "Star Trek" & "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" because of this...?)

Great point! This Alienware pc hasn't had a good game on it in a while. Forget I said anything.

Just that trailer looked

Just that trailer looked about ten zillion times more entertaining than the live action movies! :P

But I still don't get it: Frank Welker's still around doing voice work. Why won't he do Megatron anymore???

He did do Megatron's voice

He did do Megatron's voice for the first movie game. His Megatron voice has slipped a lot.

Q: Does Welker smoke? That

Q: Does Welker smoke? That might explain it a bit. Isn't he also older than Cullen too?
