Play Imaginative Pacific Rim Figures
The folks at Play Imaginative are out to please all you jaeger-meisters out there with a line of Pacific Rim figures in their Super Alloy Collectible Figure line. This is the same line they have been making large diecast Iron Man figures in. They only released a teaser for the line's debut in 2014.

I saw the Batman by Jim Lee that CDX reviewed, but are there any others from the Super Alloy line we could get reviewed, to firm up estimates on whether their attempt on the Jaegers will be good or bad?
YES DIE-CAST JAEGERS!
I'm listening....
All hope is not lost....
This seems potentially interesting, but I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet. PI has solicited a ton of high priced premium toys and shipped almost none of them to date. Their Batman was supposed to be mediocre, and PI has already issued an apology on their Facebook page over the quality of their prototypes at shows and over some apparent problems with the handful of 1/12 scale Iron Man toys that have made it out of the factory. I would love for the Iron Man stuff (and Pacific Rim!) to turn out amazing, but I just don't see it. PI seems well on their way to being a vaporware company that got too big for their britches before actually establishing themselves and gaining some experience in the kinds of elaborate productions they're trying to make. Based on how much stuff they've shown and already started taking preorders for, there's no way any Pacific Rim toys ship in 2014.
Did ThreeA not get this! Really after the Real Steel figures? They are the obvious choice. I am two palms up on this decision.
