Robot Damashii Kshatriya from Gundam Unicorn Updated

Here comes a Robot Damashii figure that is as impressive as its name is hard to spell, it's the Kshatriya from Gundam Unicorn! This massive Mobile Suit is piloted by Sleeves member Marida Cruz who uses her powerful Newtype abilities to control dozens of Funnel weapons and hidden sub arms. The Kshatriya will feature its own custom display stand, movable shoulder binders, beam sabers, and effect parts for displaying its Funnels on the attack! Coming March 2014 for 12,800 yen.

Bluefin Tamashii has information about the stateside release:

The massive Kshatriya Mobile Suit that battled the Unicorm Gundam in the Mobile Suit Gundam UC series joins the Robot Spirits line!  The Kshatriya features its appropriately sized massive form, complete with a variety of effects, including a historical first- a Funnel Rack opening gimmick!  A total of 24 Funnel connector arms, as well as Funnel effect parts (6 large and 6 small), and 8 thruster effect parts are featured in set.  Two beam sabers, as well as the ReZEL beam saber used in Episode 1 are also included, along with three sets of interchangeable hand parts for dynamic posing options. Coming in April 2014 for $129.99.

You can preorder the Kshatriya at Big Bad Toy Store.

One of my favorite Unicorn designs

It's like the Neue Ziel and the Sazabi had a baby. I'm a sucker for any design with multiple sub-arms (hence my love of Dendrobium).

Funnel Cakes

This is really nice!

The HGUC kit was amazing, but very simple compared to this. It doesn't have the opening compartments in the middle for the Funnels, and its arms for quad-wing binders weren't engineered like these ones appear to be.

That display base though, nicely done.

Amiami sold out their pre-orders in less than a minute. I refreshed the page as soon as it went up, clicked add to cart, and it had already sold out...

Thank goodness for Hobby Search, I guess.
