6 comments postedWell Josh, The MSRP I found was 25,000 JPY and don't forget the EMS shipping to the U.S. at around 5,000 JPY. I was able to secure my pre-order for $320.66 including shipping. I did a lot of research and this was the best deal I could find.
Another good point is: What is the deal with the photo from Hobbystock ? That Neo Mazinger is much taller than the original Jumbo Mazinger next to it??? I agree with you that 600mm or 60cm is 23.62" Is this a taller prototype in that photo or what?

Grandzinga....
I could be wrong, but it looks to me like the U5 Mazinger Z in that picture is a bit behind the Neo Mazinger, skewing the perspective a bit and making it look bigger than it is.

The god of metal is back!!! Long live Mazinger.
Josh, did you write this or was this a press release? Because clearly, the original Jumbo Mazinger Z was NOT a soft vinyl toy! If this is a press release, that's pretty sad (and I suspect it is because I know YOU know better, even if they don't..). But it begs the question, will this toy be vinyl "too" or polyethylene?

Its probably vinyl with plastic joints.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what type of polyethylene the old jumbos were made from? LLDPE?
