Yes-! This is one of the

Yes-! This is one of the very few post-DYRL mecha that I really want.

I could tell how blocky and rickety the original 1/60 VF-17S 'toy' that Bandai made years ago was, so I held off on getting it.

EDIT: Hmm, those feet look a little- well... little. And I hope those engine intake covers can come off.
I am pleased to see, though, that the SAP is going to be released too! I hope they also release the -17D as well...?

intake covers...

I'm pretty sure the intake covers are not going to come off.
I recall reading in some spec sheet on the design that the intake covers are part of the 'integrated passive stealth technology' of the mecha. So to me that would mean attached

shrug...someone feel free to prove me wrong.

Diamond Force

I really love this design. I've never owned many Macross toys, but I'll keep my eye out for this.

I like it!

But I love the old Bandai VF-17S, even all it's "blocky and rickety" glory . So I dunno if I will pick it up, this Yamato version gonna be expensive...24,800 yen is about $320!
