1/3000 Perfect Transformation SDF Macross (DYRL type)
I think a lot of folks where bummed when Yamato decided to make the 1/2000 scale SDF Macross they had been teasing us with a limited run HDR (Heavy Duty Polyurethane)kit you had to assemble yourself. Well looks like it's back but in a smaller, finished toy size.
Due in December for 34,440 YEN by Yamato it's a 1/3000 scale version in finished toy form...
Made of ABS, POM and zinc alloy this bad boy comes in at 400mm long in Fortress mode. That's still a nice size for this one. no word on a TV style version yet.

I shed a tear for this bad boy! Beautiful!

It's certainly beautiful, but c'mon, guys- can't they learn from the past and make a $100 toy of Takatoku Toy's SDF-1? Why do these have to be so big (awesome, BTW) and require a second mortgage (WTF)!?

Yes please, but man this hurts. I still haven't plunked down the cash for the Ingram, and that's a toy that I lust after just as much as the SDF. I guess no one's getting any presents this year.
This will look good with my Macross Quarter DX. Uh...no offense guys. I like The Quarter, & despite being bummed out from the CDX review, I just couldn't resist the half price off from HLJ.COM. I just need a battle starship-bot to add with my Zetaplus Gundams & TFs. It just looks so good to pose over playing it. You modellers know what I mean, right?
Simply awesome! To be honest, I prefer the TV version!
