Omega Tech 2099

Posted: 8 December, 2010 - 15:00

I think I better open this up to the forum. Does anyone have any insight into the toy Omega Tech 2099? Is it a character from an anime? I kind of like the design, although I can't understand the transforming function. Anyone care to elaborate? ANY info would be appreciated.

Oh man, I remember these. I bought mine at Walgreens in the late 90s, early 2000's maybe. There was a blue one and a red one, with a significant amount of diecast, and they made little sense. I'll look through my archives and see what they were called then. Andrew (VF5SS) might know their origin.
