Dynamic Change Getter Robo

I was searching for the Dynamic Pro scanlations blog when I accidentally bumped into this:

Good Smile Dynamic Change Getter Robo

Yes, a new "perfect" changing Getter Robo, different from the one made by Studio Half-Eye and at a somewhat reasonable price (8800JPY). release scheduled for March, 2012.

Personally, I have mixed feeling about this. At first I thought "Instant pre-order!", but then I put some tought into the size (~120mm) and seemingly lack of articulation. I think I'll wait until next year to see if I really get this.

EDIT: I forgot to mention: pre-orders are open in Amiami and Hobby Search.

Honestly, I like it! Although

Honestly, I like it! Although I've personally always thought that the idea of a perfect transformation Getter Robo was a bit silly. For me Getter Robo's three different forms should NOT be physically possible in the first place! Like I've said elsewhere on the internet, this is a very ambitious toy and I think it looks alright all things considered.

Plus I think he looks kind of cute in how stumpy he is.

Stumpy robots FTW.
