Any Voltron advice? Lionforce for sale?

Hi guys. I need A gadget/ transformable Lionforce for my nephew's birthday. He's 9 and this will be his last toy, so it needs to be fun and able to hold up under little kid/ stressful wear and tear (at least for a couple of weeks) Any doubles floating around? Any advice as to which toy might let little kids down? I don't trust vintage with this kid, I need help understanding the new. Thanks!
