We might have a REAL ultrazord-like formation, since saidai-oh combines with the wolf, cheeta, jaguar, lion, chameleon and tiger gekibeast to form a new combination.
Also, even if the whole line looks odd to me, go-onger will also have a carrier zord that combine with the other!
"Awww man, that's one ugly zord..." Tommy about BA Drivemax Megazord.
I did see one at my local Toys R Us for about £25, I considered taking the plunge myself but in the end opted against it. Quite glad I made that choice now.
Personally I think the other problem with a lot of the larger mecha these days is that they don't serve a purpose within the line as a whole. Aside from the chest swapping this toy doesn't interact with any of the other Magiranger/Mystic Force toys, and even the chest swapping doesn't really make sense for this toy. The same goes for Dekabase Robo, aside from storage functions it had no interactivity with any of the Dekaranger line (I must say that I did like this one on the show though).
If they're going to keep releasing these it's time for a return to the 90s style carrier mecha that actually brought together all the component mecha, or at least something that feels like a key part of the line rather than something that was thrown in at the last minute for the sake of it.
1. They have amazing articulation.
2. Tons of accesories
3. No bare plastic (except maybe on joints) everything is painted.
4. Great QC

My personal favorite part of the line is the ankles. These ankles can almost always be level with the ground.
I agree- I intentionally stayed away from this figure, but I still wanna get a G1 ver. I am also interested to see what the Masterpiece Grimlock will be like.

The YF-19 and YF-21 are the beginning of the decline of the extended Valkyrie family in my mind. Only the VF-11 and VF-2SS (and their associated SAP armored forms) were any good. Beyond that, there's too many sharp or unexplained angles, the different modes look weird, and accessories tend to be really weird. They're just not as cohesive as the originals.
Now, that's not to say I am not open to future interpretations beyond what was seen in the original series, just that none of what have come out appeal to me in the same way.
(It's the same deal with Starscream from the various Transformers series- none of the toys was appealing enough for me to want to get one until his "Transformers Animated" incarnation appeared... which I am now actively hunting for/awaiting to appear with great interest!)

This looks excellent but I think out of CM, Miracle House, Beagle and Toynami the Toynami will be supperior for detail, show accuracy and a better value price if it does not suffer from any quality control problems.
Great reviw, it is cool, but I still prefer G1 Grimlock. Why can they not just stick to the basic design of the original and make it better like Yamato did with the Macross Valks.
I am a huge Transformers fan all though I do not buy anything just for the sake of it because its Transformers. I understand what Sanjeev means exactly about the Yamato Valkyries. It is what it is, we would all have loved it to be more like G1, but its not, it is a great solid toy. IMO this is probably the best movie toy, thats why I bought it. If people do not like it they should not buy it.
Ideon looks great, the SOC line just keeps getting bettr and better. Is it just me or does Ideon look similar to the Dai-X robot from X-Bomber/ Star Fleet? Looking at Ideon builds my confidence that Bandai could easily and hopefully will build a Dai-X for their SOC line. To anyone who has not seen X-Bomber, you need to see it.

I own a Revoltech EVA-01, it has nice detail and accessories but is very small for the price and annoying to pose. From all the Revoltech products I have seen these GNU-DOU figures look miles better. All Yamato need to do now is produce a 1/60 version for the rest of their Macross Plus line.

I saw shinki figures in my local hobby store. I sold at 30$ a piece. But knowing it's original price, I interested in having one myself.
Wow never thought they were that good! Just saw one in utube,Man must buy one! Thanks for the info Viokni!!!
looks awesome but... I get the felling its onto to be displayed since those joints look very fragile to me

Dude, you have no idea how nice EMSIA's are.

......actually I don't like her too much.
Moe meets WWII, Japan will do anything to try and rewrite history.
thanks for continuing shinki figure review.
I recently started collecting this series.
and I am loving it.

Even with the transformation issues I still like them.

Great review. I do not know much about Micronauts/ Microman, but from what I have seen and your review, they are nice pieces for robot collectors.

That is awesome, great color scheme ! Simply love the dark blue head, yellow lines in the hands, and yellow pilder !?
Nice...
ps: turns out I have another west kenji vinyl mazinger, same line ?
are the articulation of (EMSiA) like the revoltechs? or are they just good?
Well, Isamu for one.
Extended MSiA.
It's like MSiA, but better.
Who doesn't?

Is EMSiA a typo,or does the "E" stand for something I'm not aware of? Are they better figures than the usual MSiA?
Bandai has Gundam by the BALLS. If you want a really high quality gundam toy get a EMSIA.
