Oh wow, I was just thinking about this yesterday. This was the last episode of the show too. I was HUGE into this show at the time. I loved the toys from this show, but the show itself was awful. You can find the first 5 episodes on Jaroo at http://jaroo.com/ Yeah I remember watching this show when I was a kid. Its funny because at the time when I was watching it I didnt get that the kaiju were in a sense "computer viruses". All thought its corny it was good times before school in the mornings. 1. Bumble bee from animated Transformers I know Im all over the place but those are my picks. I really liked the toys as well, and I've still got a couple of Kaiju from the show that my daughters play with in the sandbox... My Sidekick picks: 1. 1-Rover-1 from Battle of the Planets (Zark had a cape and a Birdstyle uniform! He's a superhero!) You have tackled the mighty action-adventure series that was Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad, but I wonder if you have ever discussed another gem, Tatooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills? Some fun Facts for the toys Some of the Kaiju were sculpted by Akamatsu-san the president of Marmit. When he graduated from collage he started work at Takara. The molds for the robots were accidentally destroyed (recycled) by the factory in china. Tsuburaya was going to rerelease the show in southeast asia but canceled it when they realized the molds were destroyed |

I've seen the opening of this show. Seemed just a clone of Sentais like VR Troopers in standard cyberspace. Then I watched a random clip from it to see how the good guy transforms. And I realised it's more like mixing VR Troopers with Beetleborgs AND making their already lame gags absolutely stupid. This special isn't any better and one can easily assume this even without watching it. The cover would be probably nice if it wasn't for that stupid kid with photoshopped Santa's hat and some cheap flash effects, I'm surprised the guitar is actually there... probably just a decoy model for shop use. And his smile... what kid would take such a character seriously? I guess this is another case of "watch the japanese version first, than this, at least you'll have a fundamental reason for hating the US adaptation... aside from the first impression".
Anyway, here's my list.
1. Arthur from The Tick
2. Lucas Amato from Cyber Six
3. Maxine Gibson from Batman Beyond
4. Robin from Batman TAS
5. Gwen Tennison from Ben 10/ Ben 10 Alien Force
This list would probably look a bit different, but I have problems with telling if Gargoyles and Samuari Jack count as superhero series.
