So first off, check out the latest page of Golden Gate Riot and oh yeah, please buy a copy in the store and tell your friends about it. I have only sold 10 copies of GGR so my self-esteem is kinda low, dudes.

In other news, I ordered copies of both S.F. #1 and S.F. Supplementary File #1 by Ryan Cecil Smith recently and was really jazzed from the moment I got the package. Getting an envelope marked SECRET FILE in the mail gave me a secret nerdy thrill.

Recently, I picked up an old General Products catalog from 1984, which I thought of translating and posting. The waxing romantic about GP will come when I post about it for real, but for now this is just a little bit of a taste. Anyway I quickly abandoned the idea of completely translating it, as I don't have the time, the experience with using editing software, and frankly, I'm too lazy. I will be posting full scans of the catalog though, and translating a couple of passages. In the mean time, I spent my night translating the store map, so I thought I'd post that. Be forewarned though, the editing probably got sloppier as the night went on. Also, it's a two page spread, and I'm not about to take the catalog apart, so the pages aren't joined together as nicely as I would have liked. Oh well.
There are some translation notes I'd talk about, but I'm going to bed for now.

I know I promised a blog post of more substance, but instead I spent hours trying to get several different store plugins working until I finally gave up. Turns out a Paypal button is simple and easy, so I ended up going with that!

In other news, I totally failed at 24 Hour Comics Day since I was still totally exhausted from APE 2012, but I drew three and a half pages before I passed out. Failure! Here's the pages of my unfinished comic Squidpunk.

Hello, travelers! I decided to post another bloggity blog! Basically, I'm just here to brag about how super sweet my new custom is! I made a Marvel Universe Deadpool! Now bear with me here, I'm fully aware that Deadpool customs are a dime a dozen. But hey, it's ME we're (I'm) talking about! I'm (we're) the most important man (men) in the universe(s)! 

To set mine apart, I also made him a bike, therefore making him an instant Tokusatsu hero. He can crush buildings and all that other buttcrap. 

Just in time for Halloween, local geeks John Cimino and Keith Gleason of Hero Envy stopped by my place and we talked about our top 3 favorite classic monsters. It was a pretty lively and fun discussion so I hope you enjoy it.

In this episode, we talk about bootleg toys! I wasn't really expecting to have to provide all the toy examples so you'll notice that since it's all from my collection, they are primarily blow molded. But it's a fun talk anyway.

Another comic celebration is coming up! It's 24 Hour Comics Day 2012! Every year, people sit down and do an insane marathon. They create a 24 page comic from scratch all within a 24 hour period. This year it takes place on October 20, 2012.
