Podcast Sentai Power Rangers: Episode 4
With no Samurai this week, Naaim and Colton are forced to do that topic they promised
Another week, another Podcast Sentai Power Rangers! This week, the airwaves were free of a new Samurai, which forced Naaim and Colton to only discuss Gokaiger. Never fear, however, because this episode saw the return of the topic, in which we talked about the role of the Red Ranger across the nineteen Power Rangers seasons. Remember, we'd love to see your emails and voicemails!

How funny- I JUST saw "Day of the Dumpster" yesterday (and the pilot episode too)! Jason, Billy, and Trini were for becoming Rangers, while Zach[ary] and Kimberly though it was too much of a bother, and literally dragged the other three out of the Command Center (where they all were promptly ambushed by Putties for the first time in the wasteland around the building). They were recruited at the same time, but did not commit at the same time.
I have NEVER liked the masculine, beefy voice that all PR Red Rangers take on as soon as they morph. So phony WTH.
Could you guys answer for me something about Tommy? Whenever I go to PR forums, they frequently refer to him as "Jeebus" (sp?), and clearly this is a long-standing joke. Where did this name come from, and why is he called that?
I've said for a long time that Zeo should have been adapted for the first movie- to see such a radical change in the arsenal would have been epic... AND then we would have gotten In Space as the second movie!
In "AbaRanger", Dino Earth was broken apart from our Earth 65mil years ago and was placed into an alternate dimension. On Dino Earth, dinosaurs became- no, remained- the dominant species of the planet, whereas humans were forced into small bands of tribes. ("Planet of the Apes", anyone?)
Or rather, the reason the dinosaurs all died out on "our" Earth is because most of them got transferred to Dino Earth in the dimensional explosion. The majority of the dinosaurs' descendants became the evil Evorian (Engrish sp?), while some others evolved differently to become the Bakuryuu.
"A-and you in the bra. Put a shirt on, man." LoL
Are you planning to address the PR theme songs at any time?
Nice podcast... except for the part where you tried to comment on Red Rangers that you knew nothing about. =/
