Hearing about characters disappearing made me think of a few films I've seen where a character or such that I bothered to care about get dropped off halfway through without any follow-up to them as if the script simply didn't need to dwell on them further.
Just thought of a stupid animated feature from the 80's I wouldn't mind seeing you rip to shreds here called "The Adventures of the American Rabbit". I was amused that got a DVD release some years back thinking nobody would even remember it at all.
Was there ever a time where you didn't hate Tom Cruise? I was going to say "liked Tom Cruise" but I had to put my audience in perspective.
The way you feel about his acting stands on its own, but it seems the hate for mega movie star Tom Cruise seeps through in watching this early film. I mean, this isn't even Top Gun Tom Cruise, let alone Mission Impossible Tom Cruise.
