Good show again this week, great job SD (you remind me of my friend Charlie). I might go look this up and check it out, or check out the new one.
Reminding someone of a friend means I am a real 'Podcaster' now! haha
Hearing about school life made me think of how different I had it in "suburbia" where there was an integrated mix of kids and I didn't felt left out or superior at all
Aside from ending on the opening theme to the show, I sorta dig the ending theme myself (somehow I tend to like end themes more than the openings) with it's animated yokai hanging out over live-action photographs.

I didn't make it to suburbia til the 7th grade. From then on it was like "really? is this what you call 'bullying?'"
Redneck schools are the worse, I'd take the hood or lame cracker schools any day.
I think I'd open a Sushi/Pho/Asian food type place only to play ending themes to 60/70's Anime for ambience, preferably set to sappy Vietnamese Karaoke videos of couples going on dates.
Worst I had were kids throwing pointless objects at my back during class that annoyed me greatly (because I had to be singled out). And these were white kids too! I hardly ever got lip from minorities gladly (though as a 5 year old, I recall a black teacher constantly dunking my head into the pool of a YMCA I had swimming lessons in, that was a horrid experience).
I would open a store selling whatever I damn well pleased. Things I can't find normally anymore since I feel everything is leaving me these days. I still have a Asian food mart that does get some Japanese snacks in now and then, but mostly deals with Korean-made goods anyway (still it's a nice place to buy Pepero when you don't feel like spending heavy on Pocky).
@SD Yeah, but my friend Charlie is a podcaster. Shamalanyian twist!
