what about cat **** one maybe that would be cool for you to review, the manga is about the vietnam while the animation is about the middle east conflict and every nationality is portrait by different animals think vietnamese are cats and americans are rabbits and afghans are camels , you should check it out, they look cute but is gory. It's like call of duty meets care bears

I am flattered

Well, gosh. I am so touched now. Thanks, Zuey. That brightened up my day.

To tell you the truth, the reason why I texted you in the middle of the night was probably because I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. So I decided to bug Zuey.

At least I know you got my texts.

We had Brett Weaver on my show a few weeks back. There's a funny story about him auditioning for Hetalia. I'll tell you when you come on my show, Zuey.

The hating haters who hate

Just a quick note to clarify the hating on DaP:DX at Anime Weekend Atlanta. We didn't actually play any clips from the MLP podcast. You see, my awareness of the show's popularity was growing at around the time you posted your take on it. My friends Paul Chapman and Gerald Rathkolb (Of The Greatest Movie Ever and Anime World Order podcasts, respectively) were saying how much they liked it, so I downloaded your podcast out of curiosity. You all seemed mystified as to why your listeners had requested that you review it and some of you were just outright hostile to it.

Anyway, I mentioned at the panel how you'd all pretty much slammed it as puerile, childish crap, at which point a crowd of around 700-800 MLP fans let loose with the boos. And, that was it. That was the extent of any hating on you. Hope you're not too disappointed.

By the way, I should mention that the opposite reactions the show generated between you guys and Paul and Gerald (Which led to them doing their podcast response about a week later) led me to watch it for myself to see what all the fuss was about. The result was that I started obsessing about trying to understand why so many people were now hooked on it. I have now devoted more time to thinking about My Little Pony than I ever would have thought possible, and I hold you guys partially to blame for it. So, good job there.

Zuey who was on this episode

Zuey who was on this episode is one of those "Brony" people. So DAPDX is not 100% anti-Brony.

I'm just letting it sail by, maybe I'll make the step kid watch it.

From what I remember Naoko

From what I remember Naoko Takeuchi wants a King's ransom, like to an insane level, to license Sailor Moon in the US again.

G Gundam!!

SCREW MR NEIIIIIIIIIL! :)

For a podcast about being poopy silly you sure don't seem to know what's fumy. I guess Mel Brooks should've stuck strictly to history as well, instead of just making things ridiculous so people would laugh.

I think that Hetalia went for audience over factual representation, because if you wanted it to be factually, then wouldn't it be more serious? Because if we're going to be factual, aren't the Axis powers really, really bad people, not cute, bishounenen, chibi characters?

I think that the creators of Hetalia went in the right direction, because if they didn't, it wold be a small fan following (basically Jeremy) instead of a hit with fan girls.

Anyway, forget Hetalia. You HAVE to get the whole crew to review G Gundam. It's fun for the whole family! I love that at one times someone had the idea to just take a real robot series and go in the crazy giant robot direction.

Even though G Gundam is stupid I wonder why no other Gundam series took on the body controlled Gundam . We have Wii, Kinect and touch screens now, so why not gesture controlled Gundam? Now all we have is Gundam AGE.

Awww, you care!

I don't think that Jeremy said that the show should be factual and accurate. I think he meant that history itself has so much material they could of worked with, yet they parodied none of it. Even Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure was able to lampoon stuff that actually happened in history, such as with the Gettysburg Address and Waterloo.

Yes, but here's the thing:

Yes, but here's the thing: This is about the personification (and bishounen-ing) of characters, not abut actual people who lived at that time, so I feel that the anime already set the standard for where it's coming from.

Canada in WWII

You ignorant American jerks! Canada played a rather important part in WWII, it's something called the Battle of Vimy Ridge, and it's when we took a part of France and it was one of the most awesome displays of hardcore badassery displayed on the battlefield. If you're going to make stupid comments on the internet, you should at least do a cursory 5 second search to avoid looking like totally incompetent imbred imbeciles (whoo illiteration).

Otherwise I agree, Hitalia is kind of irritating and could have been way better. Also tequila gundam is sweet, windmill gundam is ridiculous, lumberjack gundam is super strong and god gundam is japanese and therefore destined to win in a Japanese rape cartoon, aka anime. Sweet show, thanks for the free entertainment.

The Canadians played a rather

The Canadians played a rather huge role on D-Day on Juno beach as well as their battles and occupation across central Europe.

Would love to have a Canadian WWII infantry kit in my collection but they are very rare to find although I have a Long Branch Enfield Mk 4* in my collection.
