Destroy All Podcasts DX Episode 158 - Alternative Press Expo 2010
Hosts: D'Arcy, Jeik, Jeremy, Zuey
We went to Alternative Press Expo 2010 in San Francisco. This is about everyone drawning Ninja Turtles, cartoon cephalapods, and unemployed superheroes.

Much more after the cut, including a bunch of different people drawing Ninja Turtles, as promised.
Oh yeah, the only mainstream comics here are Archie, Betty, and Veronica.
This is the booth for Big Dog Ink, where a guy who looks like Steven Seagal sold what appeared to be softcore sex comics.
Here's d'Arcy in her sweet cuttlefish T-shirt!
Here's the Grim Wilkins booth.
And here's the infamous Hot Zombie Chicks booth. They are not hot.
Here's Zuey's soulmate's booth.
Look, it's Unemployed Man, with the powers of... not having a job!
This is d'Arcy's Ninja Turtle sketch! It's Venus de Milo from Next Mutation!
This is Jeik Dion's first Ninja Turtles sketch. The drawing is Jeik's interpretation of a future scenario where the Turtles are middle-aged and Michaelangelo is dead. Be sure to check out Jeik's comic Holy Right.
Here's Jeik's second Ninja Turtles sketch, of an angry, still teenaged Raphael.
Check out Jeik's Youtube Channel! He does sweet speed paintings on it.
Here's Jeremy's super crappy Raphael. Good to know Jeremy still draws Ninja Turtles like he did when he was 5. Now you know why he writes comics and doesn't draw them. Be sure to check out Jeremy and Tim's comic, Homeless Dinosaur. Remember that Tim drew it, not Jeremy.
Here's Kraig Rasmussen of Rocket Boy's Leonardo threatening you with his sword.
This is Star's super pretty-pretty Donatello. Be sure to check out the comic and the album that goes with it that she created with our friend John C. Worsley. The comic is called All Over the Map and you can read it and hear the album at We Are Giving Up.
This is Zuey's cutesy Michaelangelo.
This is Zuey's adorable Raphael and Casey Jones duo. Casey is wearing a business suit as inspired by the '80s Ninja Turtles cartoon episode "Corporate Raiders from Dimension X".
And here's Zuey's Master Splinter spouting words of wisdom.
Here's some other comic stuff we recommend checking out:
Anything by Michael Zulli, but especially his Ninja Turtles and Sandman work
The Carnival: The Human Hourglass
