While the Toy fair was full of great new stuff, I couldn't help but glue my face to the display glass at the Blue Fin booth. If you don't already know who they are, they are a distributor for Tamashii Nations. They are working on making Bandai goodies available to us here in the US. They had a wide array of Gundams, Saint Cloth Myth figures, S.H Figuarts, Super Robot Chogokin, tons of gashapon, and much more. What mostly caught my attention was the new big Soul of Chogokin GX-59 Daltanious.
Blue Fin had a pretty busy booth and with good reason. They were very accommodating and allowed us to check out everything they had at the show. We asked some questions and all we could say is that Bandai fans will be very happy with what they have in store for us.
Here is just some of the stuff we checked out during our visit.
This thing is a sight to behold, simply wonderful and highly detailed.
This is a new Mega Man figure they are working on. It is supposed to be highly articulated but since this was a prototype I wasn't able to confirm this for you guys, but according to what I saw in the literature, it looks to be very articulated.
This new Hades figure was simply stunning. Again, this was a prototype so it was a bit fidgety, but it is spectacular. Due in April so start saving up.
They also had the adult line of Chogokin.
The highlight of my visit was the unexpected appearance of the GX-59 Daltanious. I had only seen magazine scans of this until now and here it was.
So then Blue Fin basically says to the other reps, if CDX wants anything out of the display case, then hook them up. What? heck yeah! These guys are super cool! I obviously went right for the GX-59. Hope you guys enjoy the up close pics, I annoyed Atom to no end with wanting to cover this figure. I took several pictures but we will hold off on more pictures until the review.
This was still a prototype but they said it was very close to production spec, so I guess all us Daltanious fans will be very happy.
They also took out the Mega Man for us to check out up close which was cool because it really is a nice piece.
Adam and I really liked the new Hades figure so of course, I asked them for permission to photograph the Hades for our readers.
I just wanted to say thanks to Adam and Xavier over at BlueFin for giving us the VIP treatment with the figures and the one guy, I didn't get his name, for his patience in posing the prototype Hades for us to enjoy.

I really hope they do the others from Endless Waltz, especially Sandrock Custom.
Did you guys happen to get any contact information or a website? Goggle search produced nothing.
I own a small toy store and would love to bring this stuff in for my customers!
I'm sure if you contact Bandai USA they could direct you to Tamashii.

the bigger mega man was is a SOC like the buzz lightyear coming soon or PVC/plastic?
I wish I had more time to ask about the figure but its safe to say it is a plastic/pvc type figure. I don't remember seeing any chogokin logos. The prototype was probably made of resin so I can't comment on the final. I'm guessing it will be along the lines of robot spirits type figure but as to the name of the line, I can't say
I'm very much into the Robotech/Macross figures, and I've noticed recently Tamashii has been doing Macross Frontier figures and other related stuff. But is Tamashii a branding under Bandai? Everytime I see Tamashii
Macross stuff it has a Bandai logo on the box.
