Four years ago we did the last Some Assembly Required, and since then we've been constantly asked when we were going to get another one. Well, the stars aligned and the night before the summit Andrew (VF5SS), Josh (The Enthusiast), Dave (Nekrodave) and JoshB got together to talk about one of our favorite areas of collecting: BOOTLEGS!

Anyway, it was fun as always to do this and I hope it's fun to watch. It's a rare treat to have Josh The Enthusiast in town so I'm glad we were able to wrangle him into getting on camera with us. We briefly touched on why those were some of the toys we chose to show when I mentioned that he gave me the first Press Go Robot, but I forgot to mention that just days before last year's Summit, he unknowingly outbid me on a loose, slightly broken Gundam Press Go Robot! I only found out that he was bidding when we saw each other in person. Of course, I was later able to get one for myself. Also, at that Summit, I had brought that Robotic Aeroplane as a gift for him since I saw it and thought it looked up his alley and wanted to return the favor. It turned out that he already owned it so I managed to get the Veef to take it since...well, aeroplane. So we didn't touch on it too much but there was a personal history with us and some of those toys.
I didn't do it on purpose, but you know, i'm gonna leave it. It seems fitting.
Great show guys!
It is a fitting misspell. Next time why don't you guys talk about something from Hrsbro? Maybe a 1G Reissue with the point cards for a sepcial reward!
I took a look at a newly re-organized bootleg shelf the other night and immediately thought of the Island of Misfit Toys from Rudolph. I wonder how many us love our bootlegs because we grew up with that show.
