Josh was on a roll. I'm grateful he broached the sensitive subject of price, since I'm sure I wasn't the only one who was curious. (And props to Sanjeev for answering!)

But the best bit was how the original rubber band should be packed back in the box to preserve the resale value. ^_^ I imagine at least a couple of guys watched the video at that point with wide, unblinking eyes, nodding in their absolute agreement. LOL

Heh...believe me, the subject of price isn't sensitive (to me, anyway). I just don't wanna be "that guy" who talks about price/value/rarity, like they have any real objective meaning. That's definitely a d-bag move. This toy is certainly rare and it cost damn close to 5 figures, but it was really a once-in-a-lifetime thing for me. My car cost well over $20k, and I'd gladly trade that thing in for a car half the price just to have a shot at a toy like this. And that sentiment is what counts...not dollars and cents.

Anyway, I must admit, I *did* throw the dried rubber band bits back into the box for storage! ;)

POPY: GRENDIZER SPAZER

Congratulations Sanjeev and thanks for sharing this awesome video. Finally I got to see what the Popy Spazer looks like and does. If I am not mistaken there is one episode in Grendizer where Duke Fleed does the 'shoot in' procedure i.e. he reverses the procedure from Grendizer's mouth/cockpit canopy back to the spazer's cockpit canopy. I'll have to check this out for you. If you have any questions regarding Grendizer, kindly feel free to ask. He is extremely popular here in Europe. I hope High Dream will release a Spazer this size. Finally, have you checked the new Grendizer toys by High Dream? They have a new artist now and his box artwork is extremely cool and very anime-like.

I love High Dream's

I love High Dream's Grendizer offerings...shame I don't have more of them. We were just discussing this on the Revoltech thread. Someone definitely needs to pick up the Metaltech and review it for the site!

Now, if only we had a Jumbo Double Spazer...then, of course, a Marine Spazer...a Drill Spazer... ;)

Nice...very nice.

I really enjoyed this one. Been thinking about the almost taboo subject of price that was brought up, then commented upon. I think it is almost the number 1 question people have but it is almost never answered. Who hasn't followed an auction with no intention of bidding on it just to see how high it goes? I know personally I use it to justify my own purchases. [Yes honey, I spent the rent on this toy, but look at that jackass who spent a used cars worth on that thing.] No offense Sanjeev, I wish I could ride a spazer around my kitchen too.

Oh, didn't I mention it in

Oh, didn't I mention it in the video? I sold my car and now I just tie a rope to the back of the bus and let it haul me on the Spazer to work! ;)
