When I was in grade school you used to be able to get cap-guns that looked like real guns. Many a summer day was spent playing "guns" with my friends but those play sessions would generally end in arguments over who actually "got shot." These days, safety codes and federal mandates make is so any toy gun has to look like it's a Rainbow Bright accessory. Well with Nerf N-Strike who shot who is never a question and the guns look pretty cool too. I wish they made this stuff when I was a kid...

Well that would be kinda boring, don't ya think? I mean, the battery powered thing on the vulcan is cool, but it's actually still pretty dang fast when you're using it manually. That's not to say that it's preferable, but the pull-back legnth of the bolt is shorter than the other guns, so you can whip those suckers out faster than your opponents. I don't think I'd want the other smaller guns to be battery opperated. Kinda takes something away from it, I think.
