Holy mother of God- they're

Holy mother of God- they're covering "Galaxy Quest"! There has been absolutely no merchandise for the Star Trek-parody beyond a single assembly-required resin model (link to a review of it on StarshipModeler.com) of the N.S.E.A. Protector (6"-long). (And I'll be dammed if that bridge section can't separate just like in the movie too...) Wow, I'm loving DST right now! I call dibbs! DIBBS!

I also call dibbs on that new ver. refit-Enterprise; I'm glad they changed the colors from light blue to light gray highlights.

Um...If you have an aversion to "assembly-required" then you better improve your modeling skills if you want that NESA Protector model kit DST is distributeing.

Yes, its a model kit by a company called Pegasus Hobbies. And it has been out about a month now...that same website you linked to concerning the little resin model has this reveiw of the new kit:

Assembly is not the

Assembly is not the difficult part.

It's the filling, the cutting, the painting, the masking, applying water-transfer decals, and me always knowing that I would settle for nothing less than perfection/screen-accuracy when I also damn-well know I couldn't accomplish that.

I tried modeling a long time ago (an X-wing, the Enterprise from "Star Trek IV", a few Gundams), but never got far beyond simple assembly and maybe adding some panel line inking. I got two SD figures that are assembled with one-more not, and most of Bandai's earlier LM-HG Evangelion Units all still in their bags. I also have no supplies and no established techniques.
