Hasbro started their Toy Fair Transformers presentation by showing a big graphic that said "HASBRO LOVES TRANSFORMER FANS" in icon form. They really wanted to hammer home this point, making the audience repeat it back to them. Clearly they've heard that fans don't approve of the direction of the line, so this was to hammer home the point.
Hasbro is focusing their Transformers lines to three target audiences. The first one is preschool with the Robot Heroes lines. Second is called "Boys" which is aimed at the 6-10 year old, and then thirdly is the Collectors market, which is where most of what we are interested in lies.
The point of this presentation was "We know you are not going to like these simpler products, but these are not for you."
That being said, lets take a look at what we did see on the floor that would interest you.

No the court case was reportedly dismissed "with prejudice." Also Hasbro reps said they were in a "good spot" with regards to the new Jetfire. I think we don't have to worry at all.
Thoughts:
1)Most of the movie toys are indeed terrible but there's a few neat ones. I'm loving that blue Pterodactyl with the TWO heads. Also the Prime in the classic trailer mode is nice looking too (I hope it gets a second release in a muted color palette and face plate up).
2)Why did they ruin that Jetfire with the red vac metal? Does no one remember how the Beast Era line with that stuff would flake off even if you didn't handled it much?
3)Original Sky Byte is better.
4)I need that Double Dealer like yesterday.
