It’s kind of hard to be objective about Onell Design, because they are such good friends of all of us here at CDX. But believe me when I tell you that I am totally jazzed about the release of their new Buildman figure.
Their display at Toy Fair was shared with Beantown Toys, the other company Onell Designer Matt Doughty is involved in. In a sly move – all the joints on all the Beantown stuff are compatible with the Onell stuff, lending itself to some truly remarkable creations.
On display were the recent collaborations with Sucklord from the NY Comic-Con
The fantastic red version is Jesse Moore’s Red Guardian Pheyden – on sale now at the Rawshark Studios store.
And who is this guy? It’s Classified Sarvos – on sale soon!
Matt was nice enough to include the CollectionDX Wraith Pheyden in his display
The whole idea of the Buildmen is their compatibility and interchangeability. Just look at what you can create with a bunch of them.
The same thing applies to the Beantown Toys Bean-Bots. The beans can attach to the head of Bean-Bots, be combined with spoon racers, and even combine with the glyos stuff. Amazing.
Will someone please bring these to mass market retail? PLEASE?

I just picked up the Classified Sarvos
through the PassCode puzzle on Onell's
blog ( http://onelldesign.blogspot.com/2009/02/classifieds.html )
The PASSCODE puzzle stays there for only a limited time
so for those reading this hopefully it hasn't disappeared
yet. And don't forget to check out the WarpZone figure if
the WarpZone hasn't closed yet also.
