Of course, the first thing that drew me to this line was the name... Battle Force 5. Those who get it, get it. But then a closer look revealed some actual cool toys. The line consists of vehicle / action figure pairs that have a ton of gimmicks.
The vehicles are all plated in some kind of chrome, and have a wonderful Syd Mead look to them, especially this one that looks right out of TRON.
The vehicles all have multiple action features, including spring loaded gimmicks. Each one has a unique feature, like the green buggy with spring loaded suspension.
Oh and the tires, they are rubber.
The toys are supporting a new Hot Wheels show, all cgi, which is out soon I think.

He's done a lot of "future vehicle" concept art, and it looks a lot like the vehicles in this series.
Which is cool! I always wished that the future had been more like what he drew.
I'm gonna be keeping my eyes on these. I think the toys and the show should potentially be this generation's M.A.S.K. Pretty sweet transformations. Can't wait.
