Hasbro is very smart to leave Thrid Parties alone. All they are doing is generating a good amount of interest in Hasbro licenses and servicing a fanbase that rallies around all of their Tranformers multimedia products. Harmony Gold and whoever the @$$¥£€>~ that hold the Voltron lincense are just shooting themselves in the foot. Instead of letting the brand thrive on the web and allowing fans to produce products like King of Beasts or allow Macross in the US they starve their own fans and generate ill will around their own licenses. Very stupid. Believe me Third Party Transformer fans spend a lot of money on official product. I seriously doubt Voltron and (it fucking makes me incensed just typing) Robotech fans have a lack of funds. They don't have enough product. So like me go buy official and Third Party transformers at least that world is thriving and not choked by Robotech and Voltron legal douchrey.

...the same way an angry parent despises a hated stepchild, with a blood-boiled vengeance.
I don't wanna turn this forum into a vent against a certain korporate skroOoge; but I have to agree
with TattooedRobot's statement, and I couldn't have said it better.
If I could start a world cult, it would be to pray for the downfall of the skumbag V*ltr*n korporate empire
so that the Beast King can see the light of day.
On a lighter happier note, Thanks to Josh and crew for this fine episode! ;-)
I don't think WEP is on the same crap-level as Harmony Gold. WEP has a history of actually working with people to get product out. I think if Mad Toys had approached them first about doing the toy it could have been licensed out. Of course, we already have an instance where they licensed a Third Party toy to be released by Toynami (SD Goraion), so I think this will boil over quickly. I'm hoping they can come to an agreement instead of just shutting it down. It's a really nice piece and I would love to get my hands on it.

It was Payload from 2010

Yeah, I can see how a little kid would have trouble with that.
