Stupendous!

I will hope against hope that this comes to the US after shutting down. I would be willing to spend a couple of days in the car to check this out. I grew up watching Tom Baker in the UK, so I have a real fondness for the show. Seeing an actual K-9 would be worth it all by itself! LOL

How lucky that you got to go, Josh. I'm so happy for you!

The cynic in me smiled as I read your article. I've been impressed with the BBC's campaign to soften the blow of David Tennant leaving. They knew that fans were so attached to him that any new Doctor was facing an uphill battle. So they've systematically shown Matt Smith as part of the progression of Doctors time and time again. Multiple television specials recapping the history of the show and now this. Showing the 10th Tardis with a clip showing the regeneration into Smith is sly. They didn't want to feature Tennant doing his own thing or it would cause some nostalgia. Well played, BBC. Well played. ;-)

Personally, I'm happy if it gets us more ancillary material like the specials and this exhibit. Smith is slowly growing on me, and any additional peeks into the DW universe are greatly appreciated.

I felt chills as I was

I felt chills as I was reading this. I am a huge Doctor Who fanboy, so I'm desperately praying that they bring this to America at some point.

Those are some sweet Daleks.

Those are some sweet Daleks. Such a timeless design.

And they also have that silly robot suit thing from that one episode.

Hey were there any classic Cybermen? I dig those groovy jumpsuits.
