I haven't bought any Frontier releases yet, but that VF-25G is too good to pass up. If I can manage to secure a pre-order that one is an easy buy for me.
Also, after listening to your answers regarding my Mazinger question last week I pulled the trigger on an SRC Great Mazinger and SOC GX-45. Neither are here yet but I can't wait. So thanks again for the response. As always keep up the good work guys.
... would be bummed if it wasn't a weekly show. A lot of the times I won't read the written reviews cause its not something I'm collecting or interested in, but if I see you guys review it or mention it on your show and who its made by or which certain collectors should check out this particular toy --- then I might go back and read the whole written review.
I also understand that you might be short on time, maybe you could compromise by doing two show tapings ahead of time like maybe on the same day and then just releasing them weekly. That way if its also been a slow toy week, after the second week you should have enough content for the next two shows.
While it may not look it at a glance the Aquarion EVOL robot is quite different than the original Aquarion. This is especially true in its two other modes and in how it transforms. I will only talk about things in the first episode so as not to spoil anything, but the original Aquarion does exist in the world of EVOL as a kind of legend and in the form an old movie the main character likes watching as he works at a movie theater.
Please do not go bi weekly and DO NOT PULL THE SHOW! In my 40 years of life I have never emailed a show or called in and said: "hey long time listener , first time caller". In fact I am famous for not responding to anything and never getting back to people. Now your show has me emailing feedback and questions every week and OMG you put them on the show. I think my name has appeared more on the show than the words Saint Seiya. If you pull the show what am I supposed to do then? Should I be one of those guys who twitter the local sports dude on the nightly news cast? Should I start emailing Glen Beck about how the new SRC releases are a true sign of a communist takeover? Should I just make a sign that says I used to be Ligerbomb72 and people used to respond to my feedback? My future rests in your hands, guys. Seriously maybe you are burned out making the show because you have no help. Making a weekly show with just 2 guys must be very tough. Get some others involved but do not give up. Blade edge's double taping idea is great as well. Soldier on guys, don't let the toy nerds down.
I know about Granzort! Crazy awesome series that I recommend.
Love the show and look forward to it every week and miss it when you have a week off. Try and keep it weekly with just the odd week off every now and then.
Thanks, Atom. I find your appreciation for the "white" gratifying. My goal is always to create the illusion that the toy is floating in the white space of the page background. I'm shamelessly aping the style of Paul L. at Microforever and German genius Chogoman at ToyboxDX.
While I've invested vast amounts of time and money into getting the effect with lighting and camera settings, my meager skills have produced inconsistent results. I can't get close without completely blowing the exposure. The alternative, as Josh intuits, is lots of post-production in Photoshop. Even then, I fail more than I succeed. It's all about patience and appreciation of incremental improvement.
The show was amazing as usual. There were some fantastic reviews this week, and some great news (especially the SRC Daizyuijin). I have seen how much everyone here loves their toys and was wondering...have you ever bought a toy or model for your collection that seemed phenomenal when you were researching it or purchasing it, but once you get it and mess around with it for a while, you wish you could delete it from history and possibly burn its memory from your brain?
My answer for sure would be Galaxy Cyclone Braiger. I loved Danguard and Grozier X so much I decided I wanted the whole Hagane Line. I read reviews and studied some pictures. I knew it had no diecast content at all but it just looked so cool. Now that I own it just lays there (because it is too unstable to stand correctly) and I wish I could delete it. Good question.
Please don't stop the weekly format. I work Saturdays and here (Australia) your show comes out on YouTube on Saturday, so after a long day I get home and turn on CollectionDX. I like the content but it is not even the primary draw. It is entertaining for me to see a couple of guys who are somewhat like minded to myself have a back and forward about collecting. I look forward to it. Don't take criticisms of the show to heart because a lot more people like it than you think.
I love this show. As a viewer since Beta, I can say that it has become a traditional part of my weekend. I need this show.
You can't take away my only reason for going into work on Mondays just to listening and catch-up on the toy news that matters. That and Adam's (passionate perspectives) are freaking hilarious to listen to while this toy geek attempts to test code away. I'm sure it's at least 7 viewer + n+1 viewers and increasing by now.
Please put a poll up on CDX to keep your weekly format, and I'm sure you guys will be more than surprised by the number of voters (active viewers and users of this site) that'll be responding to prove this point.
Keep up the good work your efforts are much appreciated.

You guys put on a good show, and are the only news source I use for non Transformers stuff. I enjoy watching it, and I would be sad to see it go bi-weekly.
Adam is being glass half-empty! But I agree the numbers could be better. Tell your friends and get them to watch too! Vote with your views!
Today I go to the hometown of Go Nagai.
Tomorrow, buy the SRC Mazinger Z Devil man Collar Ver.
Available for purchase autographed is 100 people.
Tomorrow night, I will try our best to allow a good report.
...so that i could ask you to keep the show weekly.
I'm the only Japanese toy collector I know, and I appreciate hearing you guys discuss this stuff weekly.
I've seen every show (including the Betas). Additionally, I visit the site 3 or 4 times a week as well, and have for nearly two years. And just to make Josh angry, I keep my toys in the box because i like taking them out of the packaging-- it keeps an element of newness to them and nicely displays the box art. (Also, my favorite toys are from Studio Halfeye, which fall over if you blink too hard.)
Keep up the good work!
Even if you would like bigger numbers on youtube, you should know that you have a loyal, constant and appreciative following.
